Rep. George Whitesides

As a representative, George Whitesides has proven he is willing and ready to listen to his constituents and respond quickly to meet the needs of working families like so many of us across SCV. In his first term, he quickly put his expertise to work, taking on roles in both the Armed Services and Science, Space, and Technology committees. From those seats, we are proud to see his challenges to the abhorrent behavior of the Trump administration amidst their illegal war actions.

George isn’t just fighting for his district from afar; he’s working to shape SCV itself. He works enthusiastically across SCV to keep pushing Democratic values, candidates, businesses, and civilians further along every day. He has been critical to the successes our district has seen, including Prop 50 and multiple flipped seats that were long held by Republicans. George Whitesides is more than a Democrat in a Republican stronghold; he is the candidate who broke that hold across SCV once and for all.

We as SCV Dems are always grateful for the work George Whitesides does for the Valley overall, but we are even more grateful for his unwavering support for our local mission and values. We look forward to how much bluer another George Whitesides term will make District 27.
