Rep. Laura Friedman

Laura Friedman’s long tenure as a public servant has given her the education and experience needed to hit the ground running in a second term. After nearly 20 years in California politics, including serving as Mayor of Glendale and California State Assembly Woman for the 44th district, Friedman has developed an intimate relationship with who matters to her most: her constituency, particularly the young people. Building a brighter, greener future for her child and all young Californians is top of mind for the Congresswoman. Friedman cares deeply about education and student resources. In a 2025 roundtable, Friedman sat down with local school administrators to discuss the real problems they face on a day-to-day basis-problems that have become exponentially worse under the Trump administration. Friedman is not going after the Trump administration with meaningless and ineffective expletives, she’s combating the regime in the way that matters the most, tirelessly fighting for her constituents. She continues to battle it out on the education front by working to combat the Trump administration’s attacks on federal education funding, while always remembering that she is fighting for our children rather than against Trump.
